Joseph W. Bott Memorial Scholarship Fund

This fund was established in 2007 with a bequest by Joseph W. Bott. The bequest specified that 50% be allocated to endow tuition grants for GTACS students who demonstrated financial need, and 50% be allocated to endow tuition scholarships to Aquinas College or Northwestern Michigan College for students demonstrating both academic success and financial need.

Since inception, more than $1 million has been distributed to deserving students and families. This includes over 200 GTACS students, and over 175 Northwestern Michigan College and Aquinas College students. The current principal balance of the fund exceeds $1.5 million.
