Delicious, whole food lunches, prepared by our Schools’ own chefs – are just one more reason to choose Grand Traverse Area Catholic Schools (GTACS).

  • Lunches are prepared by chefs in a commercial-level kitchen at St. Francis High School. After the food is prepared, it’s distributed and served at the other schools.
  • Local, fresh ingredients are an integral part of every meal.
  • Menu options include baked or roasted vegetables, fresh fruit, whole grains and savory soups.
  • Our dining services team responsibly stewards the environment, with an emphasis on recycling, reduction of waste and composting.
  • The GTACS “Life Balance Initiative,” which includes its whole foods lunch program, has become a model for other schools.

For Grades K-2, “hot lunch” is included in the price of tuition. This fosters healthy habits among our youngest students. Other students may pay as they go, or prepay for lunches by check or an electronic payment service, sendmoneytoschool.com.

CARLINE CATERING (DINNERS TO-GO)

Busy families can also opt to order evening meals to-go via Dining Services Carline Catering service. Order by noon on Tuesday, and pick up your family-sized meal on Thursdays when you pick up your child. Reheating instructions are provided. Costs vary depending on the entree. Many families find this service very valuable during busy school days.
