St. Francis

Preschool

A safe, joyful place where three- and four-year-olds develop a love for learning about Jesus. Our preschool provides both structure and the freedom for creative play and exploration.  It’s the beginning of something bigger, and your family will feel it from day one.

Where students build the virtues for a life of success.

Mornings are for learning. Afternoons are for exploring. Our school day is structured so that literacy, math, and art instruction happen in the morning, with time for creative play, enrichment, socialization, and exercise built into every afternoon. It’s a rhythm that gives young children exactly what they need: enough structure to grow, and enough freedom to discover.

Five things that make our preschool stand out.

Academics Start Here

Every morning begins with prayer, followed by intentional instruction in literacy, math, and art. Your child will build early reading and number skills through proven teaching strategies in a classroom designed for their age and ability level. By the time they’re ready for kindergarten, they’ll be confident and prepared.

Play Built Into the Day

Afternoons are designed for creative play, indoor and outdoor activities, and socialization. Teacher-led and independent learning occur side by side, providing children with the structure they need and the space to explore on their own terms.

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, Music, and more

Preschoolers participate in weekly music, physical education, library, and Catechesis of the Good Shepherd every week. These aren’t filler classes. They’re part of a well-rounded program that develops coordination, curiosity, and a love of stories from the start.

Flexibility for Families

Car line starts at 7:35 AM. School runs from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Optional after-school care through the St. Joseph Club extends the day until 5:00 PM. An optional chef-prepared hot lunch is available daily. The details are designed to support working families without cutting corners on the experience.

Part of Something Bigger

GTACS Preschool is on the same campus as St. Francis High School and part of the same PreK-12 educational community. Your child’s journey doesn’t start and stop at preschool. It’s the first step on a path that continues through elementary, middle, and high school if your family chooses.
