High School
Weekly Mass. Ten AP courses. Championship-level athletics. More than a dozen extracurricular activities. Showstopping performances. St. Francis High School is where students take ownership of their education, compete at a high level, and figure out what they want to do next. All of it is grounded in a community that holds each other to a higher standard.
Where students build the virtues for a life of success.
Academics at St. Francis are built around a college preparatory curriculum with honors tracks, 10 AP course offerings, and an average composite ACT score of 26.3. But what sets our graduates apart goes beyond test scores. Students leave here with the critical thinking skills, the leadership experience, and the moral foundation to thrive wherever they go next.
St. Francis High School
By the Numbers
Five things that make our high school stand out.
Faith and Reason, Together
Weekly all-school Mass is the anchor, with optional daily chapel Mass, Adoration, Rosary, and Reconciliation available throughout the week. Service and mission trips, including the junior year March for Life, put faith into action. Students are invited into a deeper relationship with their faith, not pressured into one.
College Prep Curriculum
Honors and AP courses span 10 subjects, a curriculum aligned to ACT college readiness standards, and an academic assistance program for students who need extra support. Our school takes academics seriously and gives students the tools to excel.
A Head Start on College
Through dual enrollment at Northwestern Michigan College and the Career Tech Center, students can earn college credits while still in high school. It’s a practical advantage that saves families time and money and gives students a taste of what’s ahead.
Championship Athletics
High participation, high energy, and a culture that values hard work and teamwork. The result? Championships in multiple sports almost every year. Whether it’s on the field, the court, or the course, Gladiator athletics are a defining part of the St. Francis experience.
Arts, Robotics, and Everything in Between
Student council. The school musical. Yearbook. Robotics. There are real opportunities to lead, create, and build something special.
