2015 D3 State Champions (Girls)

The cross country program at St. Francis is the most successful girls sports program in St. Francis High School’s history. We have a great tradition.  In 2003, the Lady Glads won the State Championship, in 2005 they were second, and in 2015 they finished first. The girls team has qualified for the Finals 13 of the last 15 years.  The boys team has qualified four times over that period; their best finishing position was seventh in 2003.

We have been fortunate to have a number of very good athletes in our cross country program over the years.  The girls have had nine runners achieve All-State status.  Morgan McCardel was All-State for four years, 2005-08.  Jena Brown Was All-State three times, 2003-05.  Holly Bullough has been our most successful cross country runner, being named All-State each year 2012-15 while finishing second and third at the Finals in her freshman and sophomore seasons.  As a junior and as a senior, Holly won the Division 3 State Championship.
